Charming TVRZ Třebotov, hidden in a spacious garden and surrounded by medieval walls to provide protection and privacy, is open for guests again. Tis settlement was founded in the 10th century and firstly documented in written certificates of King Wenceslas I from the middle of 13th century. Since then, it was owned by aristocrats, wealthy citizens of Prague and the Cistercian church.
You can uncover the sands of time in the architectural elements of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Whether there had been a fortress, monastery, vicarage or a residence rebuilt into Renaissance maison, the place was always full of life. Unfortunately, a devastating fire in the last century left the fortress abandoned until its complete renovation in recent years.
